Seen all the explosions and death-defying stunts this summer? Left feeling a little unfilled by Salt or Knight and Day? Keep
thinking what you really need is a dame with an attitude or a guy in a fedora? Maybe a few snakes and a bullwhip?
Highly inspired by Indiana Jones and his imitators, Wing-It's latest improv play features Men of Action (plus a few women of
action too) struggling through the jungle, sunken temple, Vatican, or other setting selected by audience. The jokes are broad, the actors love
rolling on the floor (and may not realize this makes them invisible to the back row), and the sheer good humor of the performers and the audience
keeps the laughs rolling.
There's also a nifty full-service bar right behind the seats: a feature unique to University Theatre. Men of Action starts at
8 p.m. each Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm, August 19 to 20 ,and September 2 to 17, 2010 at the Historic University Theatre. Want to know the
setting of the night, possible plot twists, or other secrets? Follow Wing-It on Twitter.
