Cast

CHRIS ALLEN

Chris is a Washington native and graduate of Marymount Manhattan College. He can be seen performing stand-up comedy around Seattle and acting in the Wing-It shows Men of Action and the upcoming Unspeakable Horrors. For several years he worked extensively as a writer and actor with the film company Ballistic Entertainment before shifting his focus to comedy. He says mean things sometimes, but that's just his way of showing you he likes you.

PHILL ARENSBERG

Phill has been an actor and student of history since the age of 13. He has been an ensemble member of the improv groups Comedy Sportz, Boom Chicago, Sedan, Bombshelter and Stimulus. His film credits include "The Adulterer" and "Ace Laser: Space Guy". Wing-It Productions shows include Jet City Improv, The Lost Folio, Clues, and Twisted Flicks. He is thrilled to be able to combine his passions for improv, history and insulting his friends in The Roast. Phill lives in Seattle's tony Central District with his cat Smokey and has a weakness for sarcastic women.

JOHN BOYLE (Also Director)

John is the director of The Roast and is so excited to see it come to life on the Wing-It stage. He has been a part of various Wing-It Productions shows such as Jet City Improv, Twisted Flicks and Dirty Laundry. He is also the Co-Creator of the critically-acclaimed Election Show with Doug Willott. John would like to thank his amazing wife, his parents, all of his Roasters and everyone at Wing-It Productions.

JEREMY BROWN

Jeremy is proud to be a part of such a great comedic tradition. He hails from the Great Lake state of Michigan, and has been performing with Wing-It Productions for over 3 years. You may recognize him from shows like Men of Action, Dirty Laundry, Objection!, and The Irish Wake. The Roast is his second Midnight:30 show if you don't count how often he screwed up Funbucket, and he is glad that we can all be a part of destroying celebrity images together.

KELI CARENDER

Keli loves all sorts of roasts, especially the funny ones, so she is thrilled about being a part of The Roast. This is her ninth show with Wing-It, and she is also a cast member of Jet City Improv. In addition to Seattle, she has performed improv in Chicago, USA; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Oxford, England. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics from Western Washington University and earned her teaching degree in secondary mathematics from the University of Oxford in England. Keli would like to thank John Boyle, her director and confidant, for giving her this opportunity to combine laughing, insulting, drinking and gambling together. She would also like to thank her new HUSBAND Conor, her sisters, and her parents. She loves you all, so, so, so much. Hoo-ah!

AMANDA CARLSON (Stage Manager)

Amanda has been improvising since 2007, performing with Cure Improv, WireTap and The Ministry of Exuberance. Her recent credits include Stan Wells' Being Human and The Ministry's Bitter Taste of Others' Thoughts, with guests performances in Wing-It's Funbucket and BreakOut Improv. She has also stage managed numerous productions, including The Ministry's What Happened? and Wing-It's Rudolph: The Next Verse. In addition to her work on The Roast, she can currently be seen in The Ministry's TGIF: The Goodsons Improvised Family.

KAI CURTIS

Kai is a Seattle-based web developer and ultimate frisbee player who spends far too much time on stage to actually do either of those other things. Prior to The Roast, Kai has appeared in two other Wing-It shows this year (Adventure Playhouse, Inferno), Douglas Willott's crime caper 5 Thieves, and Interrobang?! Improv's addiction group show Interrobang Anonymous. He can also be seen this fall in Wing-It's Lovecraft-inspired Unspeakable Horrors and hopefully another independently-produced show with his super-talented improv besties in Interrobang?!. Special thanks to: director John Boyle for encouraging him to be a jerk in public, wife Denise for tolerating the jokes that never even make it to the stage, and Orange Grove Middle School for helping him develop a thick skin. Not-so-special thanks to: the Emerald Queen Casino.

CONOR McNASSAR

Conor was born in raised in Northeast Portland. Nine years ago, as a college student in southern California, he fell in love with improv theater and never looked back. Since moving to Seattle in 2006, Conor has had the honor of performing in such memorable Wing-It shows as The Declaration, Dirty Laundry, Bunker 13, and Inferno. He has performed at festivals in a number of grand American cities including Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He is returning to school in September 2010 to become a renowned physicist. And yes, his wife Keli Carender is hot.

He's done hundreds of Jet City Improv shows, as well as many Twisted Flicks and Wing-It Presents shows such as Bunker 13, Dirty Laundry, Late Nite with Satan, PROJECT: B-Movie, Reality World and Improv Lab.
