About

Wallflowers
A show that’s way too cool for cool.
Sike.
Wallflowers is the story of two socially challenged 7th graders, Julius Hauberk and Marvin McGoohan, who are at a Middle School dance without dates. Join them as they forge their way through this grueling social ritual, occasionally escaping reality to explore their inner fantasies. They’re not the only attendees, though, as Principal Bornschlegel, Jarvis the bully, Margret the overachieving and annoying love interest, and others will all interact in that creepily cute Middle School way.
Wallflowers was conceived and directed by Jet City Improv veteran Doug Willott. Performances are at 8pm on January 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 29th and February 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th. All shows are at the Historic University Theater (5510 University Way NE) and ticket prices are $10 (GA) and $8 for students/seniors. There is an opening night gala and performance on Thursday, January 4th.
Wallflowers is brought to you by Wing-It Productions, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enlightening, educating and entertaining audiences of all ages by producing theatrical events which explore theater by utilizing its improvisational roots.
This show is appropriate for all ages.
